His recently-completed novel Abe Ascending is represented by Mary Beth Chappell at Zachary Shuster Harmsworth.

Gary lectures on Lincoln's lessons for today, and has performed and directed his Lincoln dramas in the U.S., Canada, Turkey, and the People's Republic of China.

Gary is Academic Dean at Vermont College of Fine Arts, in Monpelier, Vermont, and a member of the Dramatists Guild.

He's the face on those pennies we give away and the immortal on the throne on the banks of the Potomac.
He built the Hoover Dam.  And the pyramids too.
He shoots pool with the gods and he shines your shoes
and he fixes your car and he drives a truck
and he runs out of money and he runs out of luck
and he gets the crabs and he gets the blues
and he gets on top again, tried and true
and there isn't anything he can't do.
Because Abraham Lincoln is me and you,
Abraham Lincoln is me and you.

As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew.
We must disenthrall ourselves.....
