Lincoln Reloaded?

Every age tells the old stories a new way.  Historians and poets, ad-writers and cab-drivers re-tell the past from new points of view.  It never ends.  The characters and events of the past are vessels of meaning that succeeding generations fill and empty and refill.  Lincoln reloaded.  It's the human spirit in its hunger and joy, trying to make sense of itself.

Abraham Lincoln by playwright, poet, and performer Gary Moore.

Grew up in log cabin.  Right.
Saved the Union.  Check.
Freed the slaves.  Sort of.
Made love a thousand feet above the White House?
